革靴のクリーニング・靴磨き

全体的な傷が目立っており、汚れとかは特にない感じです。
皮革用の特殊洗剤にて全体を洗いました。

ソールに詰まっている小石を取り、靴内部のゴミもガムテープを駆使して除去します。
色移りの心配はなさそうなので、豚毛ブラシでクリーニングしました。
中はスポンジで洗ってます。

乾燥後は、皮革に栄養や油分を補うため靴みがきを施します。
一旦ニュートラルで全体を磨き、傷・スレ部分に色付きのクリームで仕上げようと思いましたが、ニュートラルでだいぶ色が戻りました。

洗ってもらうだけの要望でしたので色抜けしていると思ったのですが、薄い傷が気にならなくなってました。

There are noticeable scratches overall, but there doesn’t seem to be any dirt or stains.
I washed the whole thing with a special detergent for leather.

Remove any pebbles stuck in the sole and remove any dirt inside the shoe using duct tape.
I cleaned it with a boar bristle brush as there didn’t seem to be any concerns about color transfer.
I wash the inside with a sponge.

After drying, the shoes are polished to replenish the leather with nutrients and oils.
I thought I would polish the whole thing with a neutral and then finish off the scratches and scuffs with a colored cream, but the neutral brought back the color quite a bit.

I was nervous as it was my first time having my leather shoes cleaned.
I thought the color had faded since the request was just for it to be washed, but the light scratches were no longer noticeable.
